Is this Liz Truss’s ‘anti-growth coalition’? – BBC Newsnight

Newsnight’s Economics Editor Ben Chu went to Hersham, Surrey, to meet with residents who are objecting to a proposal to build 200 new homes on the site of a shopping centre.
 
The mini-budget unveiled by the UK government included legislation to cut planning rules, and get rid of EU regulations and environmental assessments in an effort to speed up building.
 
But how is this part of Prime Minister Liz Truss’s plan for growth being received by those in a traditional Conservative area?
