The healthcare system in India is collapsing under the pressure of a surging second coronavirus wave.

Hospitals are full, patients are left untreated for hours, and supplies of oxygen are desperately inadequate.

The country of 1.4 billion people now has more daily cases than anywhere in world since the start of the pandemic.
